Monday 27 October – Labour Day

All Schools are closed for the long weekend

Tuesday 28 October – Te Aratai will be open for instruction, ready to welcome all ākonga back from the long weekend

Stay safe:

• Keep your phone charged and stay tuned to local radio, MetService alerts, and Council social media for updates

• Check on neighbours, elders, and anyone who may need extra support

• Please note that FENZ has issued a total fire and fireworks ban for Canterbury from Wednesday 22 to Monday 27 October

• Another strong wind event is forecast for Labour Day, Monday 27 October
