Parent-teacher Interviews

Book in for parent-teacher interviews 21 & 22 April 2026 (first week back, Term 2)

Tēnā koutou e te whānau,

Let’s talk about your child/ren’s learning progress over term 1 and set new goals!

Through parent-teacher interviews, our goal as a school is to support a sense-of-belonging amongst our community (Tūrangawaewae) as well as that sense of personal success alongside our rangatahi, our taiohi, our children (Whanaungatanga). Feedback can be shared both ways and new goals can be shaped up together for a successful term ahead (Whanaungatanga & Rangatiratanga).

Which kaiako-teachers should I book with?

The teachers who teach your child are listed in your child/ren’s recent school report.

  • There has been one report emailed to you between 3-6 March. Can’t find it? Check your email spam folder. Questions? email for help at office@tearatai.school.nz with your child’s full name in the subject line.

  • Look out for your child/ren’s next report for 2026 – it will be in your email inbox by Thursday 2 April.

  • If a kaiako-teacher shows as ‘not available’, please email them directly to make contact or email office@tearatai.school.nz and we will happily forward your message on to the kaiako.
